Traveling to Canada: This is what dreams are made of

One of my greatest dreams is to travel to Canada. Heck, my dream of migrating there with my boys is still vivid up to this day. What I love about Canada is there are so many famous and popular built-up areas to see and experience. The top three cities that I would really love to visit are Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. All are pretty amazing in their own right and I'm pretty sure will make your stay worthwhile. Here are some information that should help you decide to travel to Canada.

Travelling to Canadian cities

The travel system in Canada is on the whole pretty reliable. There are major airports located in all popular tourist hubs. Which makes international travel to and from the country unproblematic. Of course, you do need to be prepared for few things before you travel.

1. Canada has pretty extreme weather.
It can get cold, very cold and be sunny at the same time. That means you would be wise to check out the expected temperatures so you can prepare for this before you leave and pack the right items.

2. Talking of packing the right items, it also important that you have the correct authorization to get into the country, or you may not be allowed to visit.
For many folks, this is in the form of an ETA or Electronic Travel Authorization. Which you can get more info on at the Canadian ETA website. As well as a guide on how to apply for one.

3. Lastly, it's best to be aware of how big the country of Canada is.
Flights to get there are long, and flight between cities in the country aren't short either. This is important if you want to visit multiple cities during your stay. As you will need to ensure that you schedule in enough time to do the things you want, as well the journeys you need to do.

Toronto in Ontario is Canada's largest capital city with over a million inhabitants. That means you can expect it to be cultured, and sophisticated.

This is borne out by the huge number of theatres and museums to choose from on your visits. But whatever you do, don't miss a performance at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, on Queen St W. which is quite a spectacular site.

Vancouver is a seaport town in British Columbia. It has the benefits of being on the coast and nestled in between mountains. So despite being a city, it is very beautiful and feels quite close to nature. In fact, it's perfect for the person that wants a little bit of everything.

Experience nature by seeing the sea life in the bay, or heading out into the mountains. As well as experiencing city life at some very well regarded restaurants and night spots such as Miku or Fivesixty.

Montreal is an island city in the Saint Lawrence River. It's located in the state of Quebec and is famous for among other things its amazing architecture, of which the Notre-Dame Basilica is a perfect example.

Built in 1830 this piece of Gothic Revival architecture is something not to be missed, even in a city like Montreal which is full of imposing buildings.

So, how about you? Do you dream of traveling to Canada as well? If yes, what are the top cities you want to visit?
